NICE FLUTE: lord krishna flute music RELAXING MUSIC YOUR MIND 2018
NICE FLUTE: lord krishna flute music RELAXING MUSIC YOUR MIND 2018 BODY AND SOUL |yoga music, Meditation music Music can have a profound effect on both the emotions and the body. Faster music can make you feel more alert and concentrate better. Upbeat music can make you feel more optimistic and positive about life. A slower tempo can quiet your mind and relax your muscles, making you feel soothed while releasing the stress of the day. Music is effective for relaxation and stress management. Research confirms these personal experiences with music. Current findings indicate that music around 60 beats per minute can cause the brain to synchronize with the beat causing alpha brainwaves (frequencies from 8 - 14 hertz or cycles per second). This alpha brainwave is what is present when we are relaxed and conscious. To induce sleep (a delta brainwave of 5 hertz), a person may need to devote at least 45 minutes, in a relaxed position, listening to calming music. Researchers at Stanford University (press release 2006) have said that "listening to music seems to be able to change brain functioning to the same extent as medication." They noted that music is something that almost anybody can access and makes it an easy stress reduction tool. So what type of music reduces stress the best? A bit surprising is that Native American, Celtic, Indian stringed-instruments, drums, and flutes are very effective at relaxing the mind even when played moderately loud. Sounds of rain, thunder, and nature sounds may also be relaxing particularly when mixed with other music, such as light jazz, classical (the "largo" movement), and easy listening music. Since with music we are rarely told the beats per minute, how do you choose the relaxation music that is best for you? The answer partly rests with you: You must first like the music being played, and then it must relax you. You could start by simply exploring the music on this web page. Some may relax you, some may not. Forcing yourself to listen to relaxation music that irritates you can create tension, not reduce it. If that happens, try looking for alternatives on the internet or consult with Counseling Service staff for other musical suggestions. It is important to remember that quieting your mind does not mean you will automatically feel sleepy. It means your brain and body are relaxed, and with your new calm self, you can then function at your best in many activities.

Study in UK - Admission, Visa Process, Part time Job (2018)
I am daily receiving more than 100 emails. And I am not able to respond to them. If you have any questions please post them on my forum at https://www.bylde.com/ Every year thousands of students plan to Study in UK, take a big leap leaving schools and going to university. The number of Indian students heading abroad to study has never been higher. One of the popular destinations they are looking at - the UK. What does postgraduate study in the UK look like? And, why there is the sudden increase in number of undergraduate applicants from India to the UK? Find out the details on this special episode of Heads Up. To qualify for entry to the UK under a student visa, one needs to get a minimum score of 40 points for your application to be considered. The UK Border Agency awards 30 points if you are accepted to a suitable course in an educational institution included in the roll of Tier 4 registered sponsors. The documentary evidence you need to submit to claim the 30 points is the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) reference number, which will be given to you by your education provider. Publicly funded educational institutions, universities and colleges are among those institutions. The UK immigration has committed to come up with a rapid and rigorous system so that private educational institutions can qualify for the status very soon. In as much as students under the Tier 4 visa can expect limited access to government services, applicants are required to be able to present proof that they are financially able to support their studies and themselves while in the UK. Either a bank statement or a certification of financial capacity is the documentary proof a prospective student has to present to claim the 10 points for the financial requirement. You may lodge your application for a Tier 4 Student Visa using a paper application or through an online application. Either way, you would need to complete the self-assessment form given in one of the appendices where you have to provide the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies reference number to be given by the educational institution, and the certification that you have the required amount of maintenance based on the length of your course and the location of the educational institution. If you will be studying in inner London, your living cost would amount to £7200 and £5400 if outer London. Apart from the living costs, you would also need to prove that you are financial capable of covering the entire cost of your first year course fees. You may apply for a Tier 4 visa while in the UK - either by post or in person, and outside of the UK. Fees vary depending on where you are submitting your application. Effective October 1, 2010, the UK Border Agency has set the new fees for visa applications. For those outside of the UK, the main applicant needs to pay a fee of £220. A £220 application fee will also be added for each family member (partner or children) applying at the same time or at a later time with that of the main applicant. If you are in the UK and submit the application by post, the fee is £357 for the main applicant. Additionally, partner or child under 18 will be charged £100 each if they apply together with the main applicant; £475 each if they apply later and £475 each for children over 18 years old. Submissions made personally will cost £628 for the main applicant; £107 for each family member included in the main applicant's application form as long as the child is under 18, £730 if submitted later; and, £730 for each child over 18. The UK is an exciting place to study with its wide mix of cultural diversity and energy. UK schools, colleges and universities are among the best in the world. Student visa holders are allowed to work part time while they study and receive free medical treatment as well as qualifying fro student discounts on travel. You can also bring your dependent spouse, civil partner and children, who receive free elementary and high school education. Dependents can work full time.

how to cook okra indian style in 2 min
how to cook okra indian style in 2 min Many people asked me about salt. As you can see I am an INDIAN guy. Indians eat lot of salt hence according to my taste I choose to put a bit more ;) Again if you want to purchase the masala just go to any Big Asda or Tesco or even Morrison and search for MDH masala. OKRA is my favorite hence I learn how to cook it fast. Selecting and Storing Okra The peak season for fresh okra is May through September, though you can usually find it year-round throughout the southern United States. Look for small, crisp, brightly colored pods without brown spots or blemishes. Avoid shriveled pods. To store fresh okra, refrigerate the pods, tightly wrapped, for up to three days. Gather the Ingredients You'll need: 1 pound fresh okra (about 45 small to medium) 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper Cooking oil for deep- frying INSTRUCTIONS: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. when hot, add mustard and cumin seeds and cook until they start to pop or change color. Add the onion, chili, garlic, ginger and cook until translucent. 4 mins. I usually use my mini food processor to chop these. Lots of onion garlic chili used in Indian food, so i know i will need more chopped for dals or curries. Add okra and pinch of salt., Cook for 10 minutes or until golden on some edges. Stir occasionally. Roasting the okra till the edges dry out a bit will seal in the slime. Add spices, tomato, ketchup, salt and water. Cover and cook until tomatoes are cooked. 6 mins Taste and adjust salt and spice. Mash the larger tomato pieces. Sprinkle some garam masala and mix in. Garnish with cilantro. Serve in a bowl with dals, soups or curries and cooked grains or flatbread. NOTES Variation: Add some amchur (dry mango powder) with the tomatoes. Add in some coconut milk for creamier sauce. If you want to learn anything else do drop me a message.

6 practices to find your own startup idea 2018
6 practices to find your own startup idea 2018 # Inefficiencies Gold Mine Think twice this recent picture shows a 50 lane traffic jam in China. makes you feel better about your rather small scale traffic jam right and it's also a great inspiration for finding new ideas. Try to spot inefficiencies like this, outdated business practices and terrible customer service. that's often how it is in well-established industries where there's too little competition to stimulate innovation when a city was awarded a cable operator people had no choice but to use it so of course there was no need to improve customer service because it was impossible to switch to another provider. instead the cable companies were more focusing on their own business processes first and customers came second. # Middle Man Riddle Another way to spot ideas is to observe of industries which have a lot of middlemen don't get me wrong it's not about making others lose their jobs but sometimes industries just become overwhelmed with middlemen and get more inefficient in the process. the customer ends up paying the bill. very often technology can solve the problem by creating a unique go-to place for specific types of products or services. thanks to many acquisitions including the most recent one of orbits which makes Expedia the market leader in the US Thomas Edison once said success is just 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. it's not about who had the innovative idea first but who executed it better and became market leader faster Lets move to third # Develop and Expertise Many famous companies out there started with a great ideas when founders were really good at something. Very often there were simple side projects that were started to solve personal niche problems or even just for fun. Another good example is hotmail the developers Jack Smith and Sabeer Bhatia were working at Apple and wanted to communicate with each other about their business ideas. But they didn't want to do it from their work emails because that will enable their bosses to read there conversations. They also couldn't access their private emails because they were behind firewalls and the company's firewalls blocked access to it. so that's when they started to code a web-based email service that can be accessed from anywhere in the world and that is not linked to any Internet service provider and so hotmail was born. # Observe Interactions what if you feel you're not a nerd or even a techy, there are other ways to spot great ideas like observing your surroundings. A good one is tinder its founders Sean rad and Justin Mateen knew each other since they were teenagers and studied entrepreneurship together. Rad observed how difficult it was to approach a girl when you don't know her and especially when you're shy. # Future treands Do you recognize this place? Well this is how India might look like if you look into future from now. Monitoring future trends is another great way to find opportunities. don't start anything in a dying industry instead get yourself up to speed in growing industries and the most important global trends. for some inspiration you can check out Gartner's hype cycle for emerging technologies which shows each year which technologies are at which stage of maturity for example drones, robotics 3d printing and virtual reality are important emerging technologies today all these are growing business areas with lots of opportunities. if you set out to look at them. # Passion Fruit There are surely things that you're passionate about living after the mode to love and do what you love is not just random words on the entrepreneurial roller coaster he joined forces with his childhood friend Evan sharp who was also an avid collector together they created Pinterest to bring the collecting experience online and help connect people who have common interests. so let's recap spotting problems leads to uncovering great opportunities and opportunities leads to come up with innovative ideas.

inspirational short stories for students
inspirational short stories for students. Once a woman came out of her house and saw 3 old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them. She said “I don’t think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something to eat.” “Is the man of the house home?”, they asked. “No”, she replied. “He’s out.” “Then we cannot come in”, they replied. In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had happened. ” Go tell them I am home and invite them in!” The woman went out and invited the men in. “We do not go into a house together,” they replied. “Why is that?” she asked. One of the old men explained: “His name is Wealth,” he said pointing to one of his friends, and said pointing to another one,”He is Success, and I am Love.” Then he added, “Now go in and discuss with your husband which one of us you want in your home.” The woman went in and told her husband what was said. Her husband was overjoyed. “How nice!!”, he said. “Since that is the case, let us invite Wealth. Let him come and fill our home with wealth!” His wife disagreed. “My dear, why don’t we invite Success?” Their daughter was listening from the other corner of the house. She jumped in with her own suggestion: “Would it not be better to invite Love? Our home will then be filled with love!” “Let us heed to our daughter’s advice,” said the husband to his wife. “Go out and invite Love to be our guest.” The woman went out and asked the 3 old men, “Which one of you is Love? Please come in and be our guest.” Love got up and started walking toward the house. The other 2 also got up and followed him. Surprised, the lady asked Wealth and Success: “I only invited Love, Why are you coming in?” The old men replied together: “If you had invited Wealth or Success, the other two of us would’ve stayed out, but since you invited Love, wherever He goes, we go with him. Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success!!!!!!”

10 Kids Playgrounds That Are Totally Inappropriate!
10 Kids Playgrounds That Are Totally Inappropriate. Nothing ruins a mind like the time parents leave their offspring at the hands of the giant coming out from the ground. Even if therapy is successful in convincing you to sleep again at night, chances are your daily commute through the city will always avoid that creepy playground where you first saw the horror. The two photos are clear to show that the bloodcurdling design is widespread. You will be shocked to know the advantages packed along with those crooked teeth and highly-realistic saliva. Parents and the government joined hands and understood just how useful it is to them to short-circuit a typical childhood. 5-year-olds are tossing their toys and choosing long shifts in factories just to chase those vivid images away. Both the family budget and the Motherland is thankful for that! Russian playgrounds teach children harsh lessons so no wonder they all need vodka therapy sooner or later. Halfway around the globe, American kids grow up enjoying “Tom and Jerry,” a cartoon that rarely goes graphical and in which the two protagonists are alive and well at the end of each episode. Russian toddlers are less lucky. Not only do they have to watch state propaganda instead of cartoons, but almost all playgrounds have that one statue of a rat caught in a trap. Just imagine passing by this monument of death each and every day. The futility of life hits them hard and prepares them for a sad existence enduring the Siberian cold and reading Dostoyevsky novels. You could swear that some Russian playgrounds are intended to nurture local criminals rather than fully-functional adults. Call us insensitive towards folk tales, but there is something truly disturbing about a bear hugging a little girl. How could you grow up to be normal when a split wooden doll stares at you with its hollow eyes? Hell, it even lost its nose, and the red paint makes you think of sickening brutality. Nothing can prepare you for the nightmarish playground where children are supposed to have fun supervised by monkey heads. Hollywood directors pay millions to recreate such crime-inspiring setups. Someone should tell them that moving production on Russian soil can be a serious money-saver. Just imagine wandering at night and discovering the fifth head with your flashlight. Even worse, imagine a seasoned serial killer putting on display a vernissage of his trophy room right next to those monkeys.

inspire to vote #PowerToDecide
Every election season for decades, there’s been a push to engage young voters by reaching out to them in hip, with-it terms that they themselves use. 18 Under current legislation, a person must be 18 or over to vote in all elections in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The franchise for the referendum on independence for Scotland in 2014 was extended to include 16 and 17 year olds. You must register to vote before you can vote in UK elections or referendums. You can register to vote when you’re: 16 years old in England, Wales and Northern Ireland (and vote when you’re 18) 14 years old in Scotland (and vote in Scottish elections when you’re 16 and other elections when you’re 18) After you’ve registered, your name and address will appear on the electoral register. Scrum Roles and Responsibilities UK 2018
Scrum Roles and Responsibilities. One of the most important things for the success of scrum is the role of the Product Owner, who serves as an interface between the team and other involved parties (stakeholders). It can be said that in companies that use scrum, the tasks and responsibilities of the particular Product Owner are never the same. A scrum team has a slightly different composition than a traditional waterfall project, with three specific roles: product owner, scrum master, and the development team. And because scrum teams are cross-functional, "the development team" includes testers, designers, and ops engineers in addition to developers. In Scrum there are three roles – Team member, Product Owner and ScrumMaster. Those three working together are called the Scrum Team (or just the Team). I add a fourth role – Stakeholder – to recognize all the people who orbit a Scrum Team and influence them. 1. Sprint Planning Meeting: This meeting begins with the Product Owner. This is where he or she explains her vision for the project as well as ways for the team to meet this goal. During this meeting, team members decide the amount of work they can complete in a timely manner. This is also when the team moves work from the Product Backlog to the Sprint Backlog. This step requires a lot of planning and usually this takes around 8 hours for the group to decide on a finalized 30-day Sprint. 2. Daily Scrum and Sprint Execution: From the planning meeting, we move into the daily scrum meetings. Every single day for about 30 minutes, the team gathers together to report any issues or progress on their tasks. Though brief, this meeting is an essential part of the scrum process. It is designed to keep all group members on track in a cohesive manner. Normally the Product Owner is present during all daily scrum meetings to assist in any way. 3. Sprint Review Meeting: This meeting is used to showcase a live demonstration of the work completed. During this meeting the Product Owner, Scrum Master and stakeholders are present to review the product and suggest changes or improvements. 4. Sprint Retrospective Meeting: This meeting is held to facilitate a team’s reflection on their progress. The team speaks openly about their organizational concerns and teamwork. During this meeting, dialogue should remain friendly, non-judgmental and impartial. This review session is a key part of team building and development and it’s also very important for future scrum projects. 5. Backlog Refinement Meeting: The last type of scrum meeting reviewed in this article is the backlog refinement meeting. Team members focus on the quality and skill work involved during sprints. This meeting is necessary for the business owners to connect with the development team and is used to assess the quality and development of the final product. This meeting involves important reflection on the team backlogs. These backlogs are often written in User Story form and specify what makes the product useful to the consumer.

how to become a millionaire with £5 a day (2018) UK
Today I will be teaching you how to become a millionaire. The truth is, you only need an extra £5 each day to set aside to become a millionaire. No, you cannot save your way to millionaire status by stashing it in the bank. In fact, if you saved £5 a day from the time you were born to the age of 100 you would have accumulated £365,000! Saving £5 a day is equal to saving £1,825 a year. It is what you do with that money that determines whether or not you will become a millionaire. What you need to do is invest. You want to take advantage of compound interest and time. Compound interest allows you to make interest on your interest. The longer you allow your money to earn interest, the better the results. Here is the strategy. Become a millionaire with £5 a day. 1. Set aside £5 each day. At the end of the month, you will have £150 to invest. 2. Each month, invest in a diversified investment portfolio. One of the most lucrative investing portfolios over time has been 50% in blue chip stocks and 50% in investment grade bonds. Over the last 100 years on average, blue chip stocks have paid 10% interest and investment grade bonds have paid 6%. This gives you an average return of 8%. 3. Keep doing this for 50 years. 4. After 50 years, your portfolio will be worth £1,032,786.28 Congratulations. You just became a millionaire for the price of a coffee at Starbucks.

how girls choose there boyfriends
how girls choose there boyfriend | Don’t go outside to find happiness. Find it inside yourself. The isolation and devastation of feeling like you are the only one who doesn’t belong or fit in can overshadow all else in one’s life. It can become a repetitive self-fulfilling process — a pervasive experience of wanting to be on the inside, but standing alone watching others have fun whom we might believe have selectively and intentionally left us out. I remember feeling trapped in this position in high school. The “in crowd” seemed to really be having a fabulous time. I watched from the periphery wondering what was wrong with me that I didn’t authentically want to be doing what they were doing and why didn’t it matter to them whether I was part of the group or not. I wanted the fun they were having, but I knew that I would have to fake it to be a part of the group and I wasn’t good at that. I wanted them to want me. I knew that forcing or inserting myself into their activities wouldn’t accomplish that. Feelings of not fitting in, not being chosen and just not belonging anywhere dominated my experiences in high school. As life marched on, I noticed myself experiencing the outsider phenomenon repeatedly. It was my norm in social situations until I started to take a good look at it. I noticed a few important things that became my opportunity to break free and eventually to help others to do so as well. Here are some keys to moving away from the experience of being the outsider looking in: Observe Your Experience, Don’t Make It Wrong If you fall into the trap of automatically thinking “they are right and therefore I am wrong” you have made a dead end proclamation and have lost the opportunity to consider other possibilities. That’s why observation rather than judgment is so important. Observation leads to neutral conclusions that allow you to explore your options. Neutral observations might look like “I am looking at them having fun. I want to have fun. I don’t feel comfortable in this situation. Where else do I feel comfortable?” Look Inward, Not Outward. When you find yourself distressed watching others seemingly having a good time, notice that you are doing that. Then choose to look inward at your experience rather than outward at what others are doing. When we look at our negative feelings as feedback rather than as cause for judgment of ourselves or others, we can work with the information in a healthier way. For example, “I want to have fun. Standing here watching them is not fun for me. What else might I do to have the experience I am looking for? What is fun for me? What would be more fun for me than standing here watching them have fun?” It stands to reason that if you put your hand over a burning flame, it hurts and the healthy response is to move your hand away and learn not to do that again. So, apply that logic here. Consider the Possibility That You Are Creating a Self-Fulfilling Prophecy When you never go beyond making yourself wrong each time you encounter the feeling of being disconnected from others around you, you simply pile on more bad feelings on top of old unresolved feelings. The pain gets bigger and bigger because each encounter touches into the mother load of unresolved feelings you carry around from similar experiences in the past and you feel more “wrong” and “disconnected” with each new encounter. Convinced that you are “right” in your interpretation of being “wrong” (having never considered an alternative) makes your perspective a self-fulfilling prophecy. Pay Attention to What Works for You and What Doesn’t Work with your own feedback to create more of what works for you and less of what doesn’t. That’s called mastering the art of living. It will bring you much more fulfillment, joy and satisfaction than repeating the same old negative response sadly and wistfully wishing for a different outcome. Lovingly attend to your own sense of imbalance. Look Elsewhere. Explore what other options are available to you. Stop wanting to be part of something that doesn’t make you happy. If the shoe doesn’t fit, try on a different shoe. Go for what fits, not for what you wish would fit, but doesn’t. Go for the feeling and experience you are looking for, don’t demand the conditions under which those feelings will manifest. Be committed to finding your own form of happiness where you fit in and feel good about yourself and don’t settle for anything less. Here’s to being inside our own experience and to honoring our own truth, trusting that we belong in this world just the way we are. background sound used: The Real North - Ramin Djawadi Sound recording from 10:45 - 11:34

What is Guest Posting
What is Guest Posting. “Guest posting” means writing and publishing an article on someone else’s website or blog. If you want to guest post on a tech blog please see here: https://www.lonare.com/guest-post-2/ OR SEND AN EMAIL TO [email protected] I offer this on my own site (occasionally) and do it quite a bit on other blogs with audiences that I want to speak to. It’s a great way to connect with new readers and get your name out. But for the longest time, I overlooked this essential discipline for growing a popular blog. I wish I hadn’t. And I hope you won’t. There are three reasons why guest posting is such a key strategy for every blogger to build their online influence: Guest posting builds relationships Bloggers need good content. By being a good guest blogger and adding value to someone else’s blog, you’re going to build relationships with other bloggers. Bloggers make up a large percentage of conversations happening on the Internet, especially on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. They can be tremendously influential. Which makes them good friends to have. By making friends with other bloggers through guest posting, you’re going to grow your influence in the realm of social media, which will ultimately lead to more blog subscribers. Guest posting is great for search engines The one non-negotiable you should have for guest-posting is this: The host blogger must include a link to your blog in the post somewhere (usually at the beginning or end). Over time, these backlinks will raise the value of your blog to search engines, making your content easier to find via Google, Yahoo, Bing, and others. Guest posting introduces you to new people Perhaps, the best part of guest posting is that it allows you to enter an already-established community, and share your message. It allows you to connect with new people, which can ultimately benefit you, if you do it right. If you’re adding value to the discussion, you’re going to see that convert over time to more readers, fans, and followers. Conversely, if all you’re ever doing is asking or selling, you may end up famous, but with a reputation you don’t want. (You don’t want to be “that guy” who’s hawking his own agenda.) Add value. Help people. Be patient. And over time, you’ll win.

how to start a dropshipping business
Drop shipping is a product fulfillment that involves 3 parties – the buying customer, the online retailer (that’s you) and the supplier (the drop shipper). So the questions is how to start a dropshipping business? When someone buys a product from you, you would send in an order to the supplier who will in turn, pack and ship the item on your behalf. The difference between what the customer pays and what you pay the supplier in order to fulfill the order is your profit. These are some advantages of this model for you as a retailer; There is no investment in stock management which gives more room to sell numerous products online. Since the supplier handles 100% of the logistics, there are no cost of fulfillment (packing/shipping/labor etc.) involved on your side. It’s a mobile business that allows you to work from anywhere. For example, you could be based in US while working with a supplier from the Netherlands. Almost ⅓ of the world’s internet retailers use drop shipping to fulfill orders ranging from common products like clothings to highly priced items like boat motors. In fact, Amazon, Sears and Zappos, all used this model to grow their business empire and it’s becoming increasingly popular over the last 6 years. So, why am I writing this article if the stats are showing a promising future? Well, like most online ventures, dropshipping has its own set of challenges and you need to know what to expect before dipping your toe in the water. The Basic Setup Whether you are a solopreneur or partnering with a couple of friends, you need to apply for a business entity in order to sell products online. In the case of the US and Canada, this means obtaining a Sales Tax ID and EIN (Employer Identification Number) before you can do business with (some) suppliers. Meanwhile, you need to figure out which platform to use for selling – online marketplaces like Amazon, Bonanza or eBay or via a personal online store. Each has its own pros and cons which I will explain in a short while. The next thing to think about is finding a supplier. You can search for them on local listings, online research or if it’s necessary at all, meet them in person at their production site.

Elon Musk’s 6 productivity rules from a letter he sent to Tesla employees
Progress, Precision and Profit Elon Musk Everybody Progress First, congratulations are in order! We have now completed our third full week of producing over 2000 Model 3 vehicles. The first week was 2020, the second was 2070 and we just completed 2250 last week, along with 2000 Model S/X vehicles. This is more than double Tesla’s weekly production rate last year and an amazing feat in the face of many challenges! It is extremely rare for an automotive company to grow the production rate by over 100% from one year to the next. Moreover, there has simultaneously been a significant improvement in quality and build accuracy, which is reflected in positive owner feedback. Starting today at Giga and tomorrow at Fremont, we will be stopping for three to five days to do a comprehensive set of upgrades. This should set us up for Model 3 production of 3000 to 4000 per week next month. Another set of upgrades starting in late May should be enough to unlock production capacity of 6000 Model 3 vehicles per week by the end of June. Please note that all areas of Tesla and our suppliers will be required to demonstrate a Model 3 capacity of ~6000/week by building 850 sets of car parts in 24 hours no later than June 30th. Any Tesla department or supplier that is unable to do this will need to have a very good explanation why not, along with a plan for fixing the problem and present that to me directly. If anyone needs help achieving this, please let me know as soon as possible. We are going to find a way or make a way to get there. The reason that the burst-build target rate is 6000 and not 5000 per week in June is that we cannot have a number with no margin for error across thousands of internally and externally produced parts and processes, amplified by a complex global logistics chain. Actual production will move as fast as the least lucky and least well-executed part of the entire Tesla production/supply chain system. By having a Model 3 subsystem burst-build requirement of 6k by the end of June, we will lay the groundwork for achieving a steady 6k/week across the whole Model 3 system a few months later. As part of the drive towards 6k, all Model 3 production at Fremont will move to 24/7operations. This means that we will be adding another shift to general assembly, body and paint. Please refer anyone you know who you think meets the Tesla bar for talent, drive and trust. Between Fremont and Giga, Tesla will be adding about 400 people per week for several weeks. Btw, here are a few productivity recommendations: – Excessive meetings are the blight of big companies and almost always get worse over time. Please get of all large meetings, unless you’re certain they are providing value to the whole audience, in which case keep them very short. – Also get rid of frequent meetings, unless you are dealing with an extremely urgent matter. Meeting frequency should drop rapidly once the urgent matter is resolved. – Walk out of a meeting or drop off a call as soon as it is obvious you aren’t adding value. It is not rude to leave, it is rude to make someone stay and waste their time. – Don’t use acronyms or nonsense words for objects, software or processes at Tesla. In general, anything that requires an explanation inhibits communication. We don’t want people to have to memorize a glossary just to function at Tesla. – Communication should travel via the shortest path necessary to get the job done, not through the “chain of command”. Any manager who attempts to enforce chain of command communication will soon find themselves working elsewhere. – A major source of issues is poor communication between depts. The way to solve this is allow free flow of information between all levels. If, in order to get something done between depts, an individual contributor has to talk to their manager, who talks to a director, who talks to a VP, who talks to another VP, who talks to a director, who talks to a manager, who talks to someone doing the actual work, then super dumb things will happen. It must be ok for people to talk directly and just make the right thing happen. – In general, always pick common sense as your guide. If following a “company rule” is obviously ridiculous in a particular situation, such that it would make for a great Dilbert cartoon, then the rule should change. If there is something you think should be done to make Tesla execute better or allow you to look forward to coming to work more (same thing in the long term), please send a note to [redacted] Thanks for being such a kickass team and accomplishing miracles every day. It matters. We are burning the midnight oil to burn the midnight oil. Elon
