Until watching this video and two others by the presenter I did not quite understand what content I should include in a literature review, or what it really was. This made it very clear and now I feel more confident.
I was in tears and I decided to give up... I’m so glad I decided to check this out!!! Never did this before and the professor isn’t really getting it across to me. THIS WAS THE HOPE AND PUSH I NEEDED!!! I’m so excited to do it over🤗🤗🤗
Thank you so much David Taylor for this informative video. I have gained a lot from this video. May you please share the video on the "structure of the Research Proposal" more particularly the "overview of the proposed study"

+David Taylor Thank you, David. At the moment I am desperate to find a tutorial about how to write an essay (with the main part as discussion) of 4000 words. The lit. review should be a small part ( a half of a page) but I wrote it already somehow (looking your tutorial). I am doing Master of Social Work in Australia. But because my Bachelor is in a different area obtained in a different (non-English speaking) country 20 years ago it is difficult for me to study now. The teachers do not explain the things properly thinking that as Master students we have to find everything that we need ourselves. Yes, I understand, and I do not need a "baby-sitter for myself" but still I would prefer to get more help from the teachers. Particularly the Social Workers (themselves) should have a warmer heart. In my country we did not write argumentative essay, with all this conceptions, theories…. I have a feeling that my brain is twisting when I am writing an essay. I passed 5 units of study. Well... that always was a nightmare when I was writing the essay for them.

Richard--your summary of the source must be different from the abstract. The abstract was written by the author and/or the database service. It is copyrighted to them and you cannot use it. Also, the abstract is written for general purposes. Your summary--or the notes you take on the source--should reflect your particular point of view on the topic. Your summary should contain only the details, conclusions and methods from the source that would be useful in what you are writing. When you are taking notes on the sources you read, you are in effect writing the first draft of your paper. So, your summaries must be your own.
David Taylor just for clarification.. i am sorry if i am asking too much i really just wanted to understand this fully... is paragraph summaries equals to the abstract of the research? Can i just copy the abstract?

Firstly I would like to thank you, Mr Taylor by providing a wonderful and clear presentation concerning the Lit. Rev. So, is it possible to get a pdf format of the whole information presented? I need it, I really want to read it over and over again, streaming is so expensive.
Hi David! Thank you for the brief explanatiom of literature review. I hope you can also make presentations on an outline of quantitative research with descriptive design for example, explaining the parts of the foregoing research and design. It will be really helpful for me and to many who need brief explanation about these. Thank you!
You're welcome! There is also a text version - http://www.peakwriting.com/litreview/Index.html You may want to review this tutorial on how to write an annotated bibliography (which must be done before the lit review):
Thank you, thank you! I stumbled across this video in my search for understanding literature reviews. I am currently taking an advanced-graduate course online, and the professor and her explanations are so hard to understand. I see now that I have been doing the lit reviews completely wrong - which explains my grade! Thank you for breaking this down in a meaningful way.
Thank you very much for this video.
As a post grad student with a different background in learning, I was struggling to understand the concept of literature review and what it means to my dissertation. After watching this video, it's pretty much clear on how should I start and work towards this.
This presentation by far is the most informative one. I used David Taylor's techniques and suggestions for my capstone. Thanks for the video... Will pass it along to others whom struggle with this topic.
Magnr is a handy cross-platform trading site connected to a few big Bitcoin exchanges. Accounts never require any personal data or identitiy proof. So signup is quick and possible with anonymous data.
Leverage is available at Kraken up to 5x for several cryptocurrency pairs, including bitcoin. The fees are depending on the volume of the margin account.
Bitcoin can be traded on GDAX up to 5x leverage. The margin trading option must be manually turned on the account in order to make sure the users understands and reads the associated risks.
Margin trading is basically borrowing funds to purchase an asset, this allows you to buy more bitcoins that you would normally be able to do normally in the hope of making bigger profits on the price movements.
Advantages of Margin Trading.
The biggest benefit of margin trading is that you can take advantage of the additional funds when the market moves in the direction you expected. The overall profit of the positions once the bitcoins are soled and the loan is repaid is significantly higher compared to an ordinary trade execution.
Disadvantages of Margin Trading.
The disadvantage of margin trading is by nature the amount of risk a margin account can hold. The higher amount of leverage you take the bigger amount of money you can loose in case the market moves in an unfavorable way. Due to the margin call, the margin account must be funded countinuesly that involves significant amount of liquidity. It is only advisable to trade on marking if you have enough experience already on the market. To mitigate the associated risk, many trading platforms only offers limited amount of leverage trading opportunites.
